Theory motor

Theory motor exam is part of your motorcycle driver course. You must have passed the motor theory exam before you can take the practical exam. You must be at least 17 years old to take a theory exam motorcycle. At the CBR you can choose from 3 different CBR theory exams.

1. The normal CBR motor theory exam (Dutch only).
2. CBR Theory exam motorcycle with extra time (Dutch only).
3. Individual motor theory exam (with or without interpreter).

CBR theory exam motorcycle what does that look like?

The normal CBR theory exam motorcycle takes 30 minutes. If you choose a CBR theory exam with extra time or an individual motor theory exam, the exam takes 45 minutes. The CBR theory test motor has 50 questions about traffic insight and traffic rules. To pass the theory exam motor you must answer at least 44 questions correctly. At the end of the CBR theory exam motorcycle you will immediately hear the results.

Tips theory exam motorcycle

You can pass your CBR motor theory exam from the age of 17.
Your theory certificate is valid for a year and a half.
Do you have dyslexia, nervousness or do you not master the Dutch language sufficiently? Then an individual CBR theory motorcycle exam or a motor theory exam with extra time is a good solution.
If you have trouble learning the motorbike theory, start practicing motorbike theory exam before you start with the motorcycling lessons.
If you have a valid car driver’s license car or a motorcycle license A1, A2, you can take the AVB exam without a theory certificate. You do need the theory certificate motor for the AVD exam.

Please note that we give driving lessons motorbike only in Dutch.
